Export of Ceramic: The Quantity of Exporting Ceramics from Dehua is Recovering Month by Month(2009/10/14)

Li Huiyue, the Chief Executive County Government of Dehua, said, the financial crisis has created a significant negative impact on exports of ceramics in Dehua. But in the past 12 months, the situation of export is recovered gradually.

The Asian largest house ware fair---Hong Kong House ware Fair will be opened in Hong Kong on 20th. As the country's largest craft pottery production and export bases, Dehua country organized several ceramic artists and ceramics exporting enterprises to set up 72 booths there, including traditional porcelain carving, daily used ceramics, and porcelain crafts. Hope it can expand the overseas market by the platform in Hong Kong.

Li Huiyue said, 80% of ceramic products of Dehua are used to export, and the European and American markets accounted for about 80% of total exports. The financial crisis has created a significant negative impact on exports of ceramics in Dehua. But in the past 12 months, the situation of export is recovered gradually. He said, this biggest organization to attend the Hong Kong exhibition is intended to help the enterprises to expand the market.
